After the success of the inaugural ‘Folk on the Strand’ weekend event which took place at the Belfry Centre in Overstrand Village, North Norfolk in September 2021, ‘Folk on the Pier’ producer Scott Butler was set fair to present another selection of top names from the English folk scene last September. However, due to the passing and funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, it was decided as a mark of respect to postpone the event until a suitable later date could be arranged, both with the venue, and also the artists and crew.
