Discover more than 1000 years of Norwich's history on this circular tour with Norwich tour guide, Paul Dickson, starting and finishing at the 15th century Erpingham Gate, Norwich Cathedral, Tombland. Numbers on the tour limited to 5 due to Covid-19 social distancing. Tour lasts 1 hour 45 minutes.
Explore the ancient Cathedral Quarter, then find out about the city's historic woolen cloth and shoe making industries. Hear stories of Norwich Castle, walk through the late Victorian shopping arcade, then see Norwich Market, the 15th century Guildhall, City Hall and Jarrold's department store.
The return journey passes the Museum of Norwich, where you hear about Norwich's former chocolate history, followed by Cinema City and St Andrews & Blackfriars Halls - a former Dominican Friary, before passing down picturesque Elm Hill to the River Wensum and back to the Erpingham Gate.
