About twenty years ago I started creating music. Back then it was a lot different than it is today. You sat down wrote some words and hoped one of your musician friends could help you create your first song. After a friend introduced me to a computer program called Cubase and show me I could make music myself with limited musical knowledge there was no turning back.
Over the following years technology has made making music easier and it is all possible without even going to a studio. With the birth of social media and YouTube getting heard became a lot easier and getting some nice feedback helped inspiration to continue.
Now about 5 years ago a friend’s son asked if I could help him create a song and we managed to get on local tv with it, in the tv interview the presenter joked about us creating a Christmas song and with the possibility of another tv appearance we thought we would have a go.
Over the last 5 years 3 Christmas songs have been made by myself and some local children and 2 have been released as they had good reception on social media and YouTube. The Christmas song is something I have enjoyed and hopefully more will happen as years go by, it it always fun and when the smiles from the children come as they see themselves in a video it makes it a gift for life.
