Raising Cain Productions, the theatre company behind dark comedy thrillers, My Other Half, Last Shot and Confess are moving their storytelling to the digital stage in their new podcast, The Book at the End of the Shelf.
Penned by Norfolk-based writer, Christopher Sainton-Clark, this rhyming series will provide listeners with a different tale each week, exploring unfortunate and often grizzly stories.
Labelled as “bedtime stories for grown-ups”, episodes will include tales of a revenge-fuelled reflection that comes to life, a blood thirsty eight-year-old, a chaotic crime spree in the streets of Edinburgh, a man who witnesses his own murder and much more!
“Growing up, I loved watching programs like, The Twilight Zone, Black Mirror and Inside no. 9 and reading Roald Dahl’s short stories as well as Clive Barker’s Books of Blood. Listeners can look forward to a very similar vibe from this series” says writer, Christopher.
