Tia's Treasures spreading Kindness where ever they go

The Tia's Treasures Team aka Kindness Ninja's are 3 weeks into the Summer Break and still spreading kindness where ever they go.

Tia's Treasures Random Acts of Kindness gifts consisting of a silver tone infinity heart charm as featured on the Tia's Treasures website and social media banner on a coloured cord and attached to a card designed by Tommy (5) have been placed around Gorleston On Sea for people to find, the finders can either keep their find or re-hide it to make someone else smile.

Feedback received via the contact form on the Tia's Treasures website has been nothing but positive, such small acts of kindness have brought smiles to so many.

Last week the Tia's Treasures Team enjoyed some much needed family time as Dad (Richard) had some holiday from work booked, Random Acts of Kindness were hidden around Norfolk and Suffolk consisting of beach themed charms (hidden at Sparrows Nest and the beach, Lowestoft and Pops Meadow, Gorleston On Sea), animal themed charms (hidden at Pettitts Animal Adventure Park, Reedham) and dinosaur charms (hidden at GoGo Discover Dinosaur Trail, Norwich.

The Tia's Treasures Team made a donation to the charity Break after completing the Trail.

Last week also saw Mum (Lisa) turn 40, Lisa created a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser for Home-Start Norfolk where she is a Volunteer. Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their challenging times.

Home-Start works with families in communities right across the UK. Starting in the home, our approach is as individual as the people we’re helping. No judgement, it is just compassionate, confidential help and expert support.

Next week sees the youngest member of the Tia's Treasures Team Toby turn 4, a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser will be set up on his behalf in the Tia's Treasures Facebook Group for Unique, Unique is a small charity supporting, informing and networking with families living with a Rare Chromosome Disorder, Copy Number Variant or Single Gene Disorder associated with learning disabilities and developmental delay. Toby was diagnosed with a Chromosome Deletion in 2020 and Unique have been a fantastic source of support giving useful information and advice ever since.

No doubt many more Random Acts of Kindness will be hidden with various themes before the end of the Summer Break, no act of kindness is ever too small and kindness is contagious.

Will you find one?

Tia's Treasures Young Epilepsy JustGiving Page has reached our £1000 target yesterday evening.

As previously mentioned we had planned to hold a Fundraising event of some kind to celebrate Tia's Treasures 9th Birthday on 21st May to hopefully achieve our target but due to the current situation with Covid 19/Corona Virus this unfortunately wasn't possible.

We had been thinking of ways of how we could raise the last £200 to achieve our £1000 target from the comfort of our home and as I (Lisa) was long overdue a hair cut (last one was just before Christmas)I decided to brave the shave as part of the Cov Head-19 Challenge.

The Covhead-19 Challenge was launched last month by William Bull from Oxfordshire who wanted to "get people making the most of a bad situation".
