Poolside Lodges is a family run site of 3 single storey lodges located 5 miles from the heart of Norwich city and the Norfolk Broads, meaning we have the best of both worlds on our doorstep; the stunning architecture of the city with its wealth of heritage, high street brands and array of independent shops to the tranquillity and beauty of the National Park Norfolk Broads.

We have 3 lodges; Poolside (sleeps 4), Studio (sleeps 2) and Woodside (sleeps 4).  Our Studio and Woodside Lodges have the added luxury of hot tubs (all year round).  All guests share our outdoor heated pool (late May to end September), games room and gardens.  Lodges can be hired for weekend breaks, holidays and business visitors.  Our lodges can be hired individually, or we are ideally suited to group bookings of families and friends for holidays and special occasions.

We offer relaxed and welcoming accommodation with facilities of a larger site, at affordable prices.

We have a wide range of new and used holiday homes available to view on our large display ground and we work closely with some of East Anglia's leading independent holiday parks to make sure the transition from our site to your chosen one is smooth and straightforward. We also supply caravans for self build projects and permanent occupancy (subject to local planning regulations) and usually have a small selection of units suitable for garden storage, tack rooms etc (on a sold as seen basis). We can also transport your holiday home to its destination (UK only) or help you to arrange for it to be delivered further afield.

Selling your caravan

We're always interested in purchasing well looked after holiday homes.  We're happy to take the details of your caravan and advise you on price, whether you're considering a part exchange or not.

We also buy privately used CARAVAN HOLIDAY HOMES that are in good condition and have been well looked after.  You don't have to part exchange your holiday home against another for us to be interested.  We can arrange viewings at caravan parks throughout East Anglia, many of which we visit regularly. Once we have agreed a purchase price all you have to do is advise the park of the sale and we arrange everything else including the removal of your holiday home, which we collect using our own transport.

At Great Yarmouth Caravans if we make you an offer we ALWAYS have the money to pay you promptly.  NO FALSE PROMISES!  Remember - we've been buying and selling caravans in East Anglia for 50 years!!

Our loyal band of customers already know how good the food and drink is at The Fur and Feather Inn - it's what keeps them coming back. Don't just take our word for it, we're featured in the Good Pub Guide, CAMRA's Good Beer Guide and nominated for local awards. Here's why...

It's a beautiful setting to eat or drink, a thatched pub, in one of Broadland's prettiest villages. The atmosphere is as traditional as the setting. Friendly staff behind the oak topped bar, the day's newspapers on top of it. A welcoming fire and no TV, juke box or pool table. Next door is Woodforde's brewery. We serve their award winning ales straight from the cask.

A great place to come for a drink but the Fur and Feather is probably defined by its food. Here traditional meets modern, whether you choose to eat in the restaurant, the bar or large garden. Our chefs have built up a countywide reputation. Steak-and-kidney pudding fans have been known to travel from as far as Fakenham and Lowestoft after hearing about ours!

It's traditional English fare all home-made, seasonal and local where possible. There's always more than 20 main courses to choose from and menus change regularly and our specials boards change daily. Where possible, we use local suppliers. Coxford's butchers at Aylsham make our half pound burgers especially for us. It's all complimented by an exceptional wine list.
