Your chance to win a pop-up stall on Norwich Market

The city council is offering one local small business the chance to win a pop-up stall on its award-winning Norwich Market in the run-up to Christmas. A number of the city’s independent businesses, which are now based in shops or permanent market stalls, have started life on the market and a pop-up stall is the perfect way to try out trading in the centre of Norwich. The winning business, which must be based in Norwich and must offer something different to what is already on the market, will be able to trade on the stall for one week at the end of November/start of December. With just under a year to go until the new Marina Centre is unveiled, Great Yarmouth Borough Council has launched a new art competition for children and young people of all ages and abilities. Over the next three months, participants are invited to submit their very own version of the Olympic torch, either as an individual or group entry. A first name and age is all the information needed to be added to each entry. The winning design would have their design sent to a fabricator, who will turn it into a torch. The torch will then travel around the borough in a relay race and attend activity days, sports day, fetes, and other exciting opportunities from mid-April 2022. The winner of the competition would be given the opportunity to…
