Legendary New Wave Of British Heavy Metal band TYGERS OF PAN TANG will be appearing live at the B2 venue in Norwich, Norfolk on Saturday 3^rd March 2012. Doors open at 7pm.

The TYGERS were formed in the north east of England in 1978 and were a huge part of the British metal scene of the time alongside the likes of Iron Maiden, Saxon and Def Leppard. The band released their “Wild Cat” debut in 1980 and followed it up with a string of hit albums including “Spellbound,” “Crazy Nights” and “The Cage.” These landmark releases saw chart action worldwide and established the band as a major international live draw.

The band split in the mid eighties, but a special anniversary show at the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany gained an overwhelmingly positive reaction from fans and original guitarist Robb Weir reformed the band in 2001. Throughout the last decade, the TYGERS have continued to tour extensively remaining a potent live force, while their 2008 album “Animal Instinct” scored an 8/10 review in Classic Rock magazine.

The TYGERS are currently signed to Rocksector Records and have a new album set for release in the Spring of 2012. The Norwich show represents a chance for fans to hear the new material as well as some of the timeless classics that have shaped British metal as we know it.

Special guests for the B2 show are TYGERS Rocksector labelmates NIGHTVISION. With two cracking albums to their name already, this fast-rising, hard-hitting British four-piece are turning heads wherever they go. Their relentless touring has already seen the band chalk up impressive opening slots with Fozzy and Diamond Head, as well as successful overseas festival appearances. There is a big buzz around NIGHTVISION just now and this performance will show you why.

Opening the bill are up and coming power metallers NEVERWORLD. This superlative quartet announced themselves with 2010’s “Welcome To Neverworld” EP and have since cemented their early success with a video for the track “They Live.” Combining a range of influences into a lethal take on modern metal, NEVERWORLD deliver their music with flair, power and passion. Like the other two bands, they are not to be missed.
