The Iron Lady was established in April 2000 and we hope that you will click on the link to our website to view the story of how we developed the business to where we are today.
Our Professional Laundry & Ironing Service is not only offered to the domestic market but also offered to Holiday Cottages.
Clients can have their ironing collected from their work or home. We bring the ironing back to our workshop, were we price and iron the items. Everything is hand finished we don't use sheet presses or roller presses, we then place the clothing on wire hangers and cover them in a plastic sleeve (similar to when you collect a suit from the Dry Cleaners). The flat work (bedding, table clothes etc), when ironed and folded is also parcelled in plastic...
We offer a deluxe shirt service whereby we individually fold and pack the shirt. The shirts when packed look as though they are shop purchased new.
Our Highly experienced seamstress is on hand for all your Alterations and Repairs.
Also let us take your dry cleaning and clean your house.
