Hootz House, Pensthorpe Natural Park’s iconic adventure play centre has won a national building award.
The popular north Norfolk play barn beat off competition from around Great Britain to be named best Recreation & Leisure project of the year by the Rural and Industrial Design and Building Association.
Bespoke framework for the innovative project was constructed by Hingham-based steel-framed building specialists A C Bacon Engineering in conjunction with the primary contractor Bunting & Son.
A herd of eight Bagot goats have been moved back into their spring and summer residence on Cromer’s cliff. The goats have been clearing land in recent months at Happy Valley. Their move back into the heart of Cromer was made today thanks to NNDC officers.
The Bagot billies, which have appeared on television and in newspapers, will be joined by another eight Bagots from Cumbria sometime in May.
